Our Chardonnay is completely barrel-fermented and is aged in 33% new French oak barrels. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and remains in contact with the barrel lees for 10 month of barrel aging. A brilliant light golden straw colored wine that is intense and vibrant, with spicy vanilla laced pear, citrus, and mineral notes. A creamy mouthfeel is followed by a tightly focused persistent finish. The oak is present, but restrained and balanced and well integrated in this full-bodied wine.
