Winemaker
David Yorgensen, our winemaker, worked with renowned winemaking consultant Philippe Melka at Seavey Vineyard. David joined us as our full time winemaker in 2004 to complete the aging, blending, and bottling of the 2004 vintages and has been responsible for all aspects of winemaking and cellar management since then. Our vineyards are managed by Pina Vineyards, who also manage Bryant Family and Gemstone vineyards. We do not use any pesticides or herbicides in our vineyard.
Tasting Notes
Polished and layered, with complex wild berry, black cherry, plum and spice that offer richness and depth to the espresso laced toasty-oak. Dense fruit, plush, round tannin and balanced acid develop dimension that is persistent and compelling.
